Site of the Confrontation of the Nolan Expedition with Spanish Forces

From Philip Nolan and Texas:  Expeditions to the Unknown Land 1791-1801 by Maurine T. Wilson and Jack Jackson.  Site of the historical marker and area where the death and burial of Phillip Nolan and the capture of his men by Spanish forces occurred is circled.  Some local historians believe that the site of the confrontation was south of Blum indicated by the arrow.
