SONS OF DEWITT COLONY TEXAS The following photos were found in artifacts of descendants of Capt. "Black" Adam Zumwalt and daughter Lucinda Zumwalt. Notes on back of the photo at left indicate it was taken in Flatonia, FayetteCo, TX and "a member of the Love family." The same note in quotes was written on back of the picture at right, but the picture was taken in MO. It has been speculated that one or both of these might be Lucinda Zumwalt. It has also been suggested that the picture at left might be Martha Meriwether Love, first wife of Alan Love, prior to his marriage to Lucinda Zumwalt.
